Another Random Day

It's Saturday Feb 3 I took care of Ella last night - no big deal. Tracy came in gave me Ella around 7.00am so I could change her diaper. Tracy went downstairs I stayed in bed with her and worked on some emails other items When I went down around 8.30am - Tracy was down but nothing done.  Kitchen same. I tell her I need help with things (chores, Ella, putting dishes away, Oli, etc etc) so I can start working on finishing up remodeling. She says that's my job - and start to get angry because we both agreed.  So I say she can do remodeling work - something she could do (most of it) and I'll take care of everything else. Basically, rest of day she sleeps on and off. We get in a few fights. At 4.00 she starts dinner talk - since we're supposed to eat at 5.00. At 4.30pm I ask if she'll clean out rest of dining room so I can install chandelier. She works on that a little more and then works on making dinner from At 5.30, nothing is done at all excep...

House Still A Disaster - One Year Later - Feb 2018

For whatever reason Tracy can't pick up after herself.  She had this trait, not as bad, 10+ years ago when we first met. It seems to more broad then picking up - it seems to be any activity that is tedious, boring, stressful - then it's avoided (taxes, bills, organizing, paperwork, etc).  No matter what the outcome the behaviour has to her, her future, and to her family. She's developed a sophisticated response system of one liners, deferring, deflecting, topic jumping, and also just lying (misleading statements) to just move on from any discussions or actions relating to the behaviour. I've been dealing with this to some degree since I've know her. Office still pretty much the same The bathroom was cleaned up.  Scott was coming for a tour so Tracy cleaned up her mess - I scrubbed and vacuumed the entire bathroom (except shower stall).
